IMPLANT SUPPORTED DENTURES
We now offer the opportunity to give secure function while replacing fully edentulous arches. While dentures have been the only option in full tooth replacement since the dawn of time we now have ability to secure them with dental implants. This offers extensive improvement in retention. Say goodbye to denture adhesive! We use a snap attachment on the implant and on the underside of denture to snap the denture to the arch. This system has proven to be a patient favorite and has changed the lives of many struggling with loose fitting dentures.
Traditional complete dentures
When you a need a full teeth replacement option we have several options that could work well for you. Traditional dentures rely on suction and adaption to your gum tissue and palate to support and retain the denture. We work closely with reputable denture labs to fit and fabricate your custom dentures. However after you receive your new custom dentures our relationship is just beginning. At Forest Family Dental we are dedicated to giving you your smile and function back. You’ll receive complementary adjustments and evaluations at no cost to you for a whole year.
Partial denture
Generally we offer three different options for tooth replacement: dental implants, dental bridge, or partial denture. Although dental implants and dental bridges function most like the teeth they’ve replaced, partial dentures can be a great cost affective alternative. Partial dentures can be a solid option for replacement of multiple teeth in an arch. Partial dentures rest on the gum tissue and remaining teeth and clasp the remaining teeth to add security. They are a removable option and should be cared for and cleaned properly to encourage longevity. Partial dentures come in two different types metal frame based and Valplast. Traditional metal frame partial dentures exhibit great longevity and can easily modified and repaired. Valplast partial dentures offer superior esthetics and can be more comfortable due to their light weight, but are very difficult to modify and adjust.
